Small to medium dents where the paint isn’t cracked, like door dings, hail damage, and soft creases, are usually perfect for PDR. If the metal isn’t stretched, it’s a good candidate.

If the paint is broken or the dent has a sharp crease or sits on an edge, we typically need to repair and repaint instead.

In most cases, it’s completely gone. The goal with PDR is to restore the panel back to its original shape, not just make it “less noticeable.”

Because we’re not sanding, filling, or repainting. It’s a more direct repair with less labor and materials.
